After a few years as designer at the helm of L.A. brand Fluxus, Jeffrey Sebelia — the neck-tattooed former champ of “Project Runway” — may have finally found his true calling.
His new line, La Miniatura, is the most cohesive, trend-right collection we’ve ever seen him pull off. That the purely punk-rock collection is strictly for little dudes makes no difference.
With La Miniatura, Sebelia delivers his usual “eff you” with a good amount of grace, melding iconic silhouettes including rocker-tight jeans, velvet pants and trench coats with a whimsical, street urchin feel that’s so delicious, it makes me want to light my son’s closet on fire and start his wardrobe over from scratch.
Sebelia recently launched the line with friend and entrepreneur Melissa Bochco, after the pair lamented over how hard it is to find cool kid’s clothes. Months later, while debuting the line at the ENK Children’s Club show in March, the line sold out in the first two days.
Sebelia, who’s son is one of the brand’s models, summed up his new endeavor by saying, “I just want my kid to be able to dress with some dignity!”

Love it! So cute and great concept for Sebelia. I’ve always liked his sensibility and style since Project Runway.
I cannot wait to buy some stuff for my newphew!!! Time to set aside the Toy Story 3 clothing.
