Caroline Wozniacki’s US Open dress is not too short.

…And it’s also the only semi-interesting look coming out of the women’s draw (though at least they try: When will a male player don Thom Browne?).

Wozniacki, the top-seeded Danish player, is currently kicking ass in the quarterfinals while wearing a dress designed by Stella McCartney, which has likely become the most trafficked U.S. Open story on the web. Simply google “caroline too short” and you’ll see what I mean. But compliments to Wozniacki for choosing something a little daring on the court, touched off with a Crayola-yellow tank dress and matching manicure.

Wozniacki’s taciturn take on the dress and asinine hubbub? “I think it’s nice … and I’m sure I’ll get a lot of male fans now.”

Venus may be a goddess, but her bedazzled pink number belies her brilliance and grit. Change your frock, girl.
