Soyrizio burritos from Trader Joe’s, reruns of Degrassi and really good vintage clothing are three things in life that we refuse to live without. Which is why we got quite excited upon finding out about A Current Affair, a genius-looking vintage pop-up shop opening on Fashion’s Night Out.
Created by Scout owner Joey Grana and vintage dealer Richard Wainwright, the pop-up will feature over twenty, mostly L.A.-based vintage emporiums and pieces of their well-curated stock.
Expect to find jewelry, clothing, shoes and accessories from dealers including Monika Dickerson, Laura Kranitz and Sielian’s, the Melrose Ave. shop frequented by Rachel Zoe and Mary Kate Olsen (pictured at right in a 1920s beaded bag and 1960s sunglasses from the store).
Admission is $10 both days of the pop-up. But on Fashion’s Night Out, you can groove to a DJ and sip cocktails while you shop.
Oh yeah, good cocktails. Add that to the list of things we refuse to live without.
Friday, September 10 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cooper Design Space, 860 South Los Angeles St., 11th Floor. Los Angeles. itsacurrentaffair.com
