Though I adore L.A. in all of its spread-out glory, I am rarely happier than when exploring my charming hood of Los Feliz. (And now we have a new genius wine bar. Score.)

And tomorrow, fellow fans can visit the Los Feliz Summer Fair, a village-wide event featuring in-store activities, restaurant discounts and a raffle to win an iPad. Some of the participating businesses include Happy on Hollywood Blvd., where you’ll find goods for 50 percent-off as well as free balloons for the kids, a 25 percent-off summer sale at Liza Shtromberg jewelry on Hillhurst Ave. and a performance by the Pacheco Brothers Latin jazz band at both neighborhood locations of Yuca’s, a small, family owned taqueria (that we’ve totally catered photo shoots from before).

For those who scoff at the East Side for its hipster tendencies and not-quite-as-manicured-vibe, I personally invite you to head out tomorrow to see just how perfect a Saturday in Los Feliz can really be (I’m banking on perfection in that iPad raffle, personally).
