Um, ok. H.Wood, the massive Hollywood club that has had its share of identity crises since opening in 2008, has added a new bullet point on the ol’ CV: Cosmetics company.
Yes, you read right. The club has launched a line of lip products that feature the tea brewed at Tea Room, a separate, more intimate section of the club (perhaps they brewed too big a batch and didn’t want to be wasteful?).
Products include pots of tea-infused lip scrub ($24) and lip tea moisturizer ($10) in varieties including chai coconut and pom-rose, as well as shine pots ($20) and tubes of lipstick ($16) that are available in five shades.
We’re befuddled. But hey, the place needs to make money somehow now that The Hills won’t be filming there anymore.
The made-in-L.A. collection can be purchased on-line at hwoodbeauty.com.

Um, ok…indeed! H.Wood is totally ripping off of Julie Hewett. OMG! Check out Julie’s makeup, which has been around for a few years, then check out H.Wood’s packaging. The similarities are eerie.
rumor on the street is that JH and H.Wood were involved in some business-y manner. they have parted ways and JH is continuing with her flawless line. yay! as long as it doesn’t go away!
yup, talked with my reg make-up chick & she told me H.Wood tried to take over julie hewett’s company & is now trying to steal her clients with their lame & complete RIP-OFF product! all i can say is KARMA is a…..
Who ARE these people who have ripped off one of the most highly respected makeup artists in Hollywood? Julie Hewett worked tirelessly for years to develop this very fine line of makeup and these losers think they can just rip her off?! Oh HELL NO!! The REAL Hollywood will not be fooled. Please don’t you be fooled either. Go to http://www.juliehewett.net and get the real thing. You, she, and especially they DESERVE it.
