If you’re mad for tartan plaid, then this is good news: Burberry has finally launched a cosmetic line, Burberry Beauty, with an exclusive to Nordstrom.com.
It used to be that Burberry perfume was our only beauty option from the line that Christopher Bailey transformed from dowdy to desirable over his creative director tenure.
But the brand has gone big in this debut with a collection of 96 beauty items, all under the ethos of understated chic — think smoky metallics and neutral tones. The line includes pressed powder, blush, sheer foundation, liquid foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow and — well, you get the picture. The price range, $24-$60, is comparable to many design houses with their own vamp nail polish offerings, though we predict Burberry will be giving them a run for their money. — Nicole Hayden
