A few days ago we mentioned that Ron Robinson was opening up a pop-up shop at the Mondrian Hotel. And last night, the pairing was celebrated with a lush party at the sleek West Hollywood space.

“This hotel has a very similar ethos related to ours in terms of customers and so it’s an easy match,” Robinson said. The tiny, wood-filled store is stocked with an eclectic mix of beach towels, international music and cocktail accoutrement.  Fragrances from Robinson’s own Apothia line are also featured. As is a $3,000 bejeweled brassiere owned by Hugh Hefner’s latest girlfriend and a collection of adult-friendly reading material, including The Big Penis Book.

“I know my main audience,” Robinson said. “I’ve barely seen children in this hotel.”

As of now, the pop-up shop is slated to last through December. — Olivia Smith
