Despite the Hitchcockian themes, I find Tom Ford’s latest campaign for his oh-if-only-you-could-afford-this eyewear far less horrifying than the usual ad fare that I see from him, often featuring a bottle of his ultra-masculine Tom Ford for Men cologne stuffed between a model’s boobs or down her shaved crotch (or sometimes deftly placed in some guy’s ass). Not sure if those ads are over in favor of a little creative class — Nicholas Hoult is perfection in this shot. Might Ford, a budding auteur, be planning a remake of The Birds for his sophomore film?
