It’s official — Sally Singer, fashion news and features director at Vogue, has been named the editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Singer will start her reign on July 5, according to a note Bill Keller, executive editor of The New York Times, sent to staff members.
The T job opened up after its then-editor, Stefano Tonchi, departed to helm W in April (his first issue is September). Singer has been more than pulling her weight at Vogue for years (dealing with Anna Wintour’s insanity all the while). It’s nice to see talent and perseverance pay off. Can’t wait to see the Singer-fied T.
