Food trucks have gotten to be so ubiquitous in this town, it’s hard to figure out which are worth chasing. But take it from us — the new Manila Machine, specializing in Filipino food, is one not to be missed.
The roving restaurant, which will debut at the Downtown Art Walk on June 10, is co-owned by former Joan’s on Third manager Nastassia Johnson, who has impeccable taste in food (I’ve eaten with her), a cool food blog, Let Me Eat Cake, and the skills to make mobile food magnificent.
Check out the delish menu, which includes longganisang hubad (“naked” sausage), chicken adobo and sweet pork and garlic sausage sliders, on the truck’s website.
