I’ve always loved that circa-1960s bubblegum pink that waitresses and stewardesses were still wearing when I was little (more often then not, it was rendered in stiff polyester).
So I was tickled to see the semi-day-glo color all over John Galliano’s Cruise 2011 collection for Dior — inspired by the French New Wave. The full-bodied pink looks as amazing in flowy, diaphanous fabrics as it does in starched cotton poplin.
Can you see yourself clad in the hyper-girly hue come next Spring?
