Let’s face it — without Tim Gunn, Project Runway would be Launch My Line. The pedantic silver fox brings experience and a touch of class to the reality TV show. Yes, he borders on the prissy at times, but deep down, you know he’s right when he says that frock is looking “matronly” or like “student work.”
And now’s your chance to meet him. The Gunn-ster will be appearing at the Kate Spade store in Pasadena on Thursday to dispense style tips and guzzle champagne. The event, which is open to the public, will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. And the dandy style expert will pose for a photo with anyone who purchases over $100 of merch from the store (Gunn is the creative director of Kate Spade’s parent company, Liz Claiborne.)
