Looks like you won’t have to fight the weekend crowds at The Grove for a visit to Barneys Co-op. Not that the Third Street Promenade throngs are much easier navigated. But WWD reports that the chain will open its 21st location at Santa Monica Place in August. The formerly grimy mall is set to re-open on August 6, and will house stores including Nordstrom, Joe’s Jeans, Kitson and Burberry. —Paul Dexter
