Massive collection of Hollywood glamour photography goes up for auction

Marlene DietrichIf old Hollywood is your thing, it’s worth checking out anĀ  online auction of thousands of old glamour shots (from the 20s through the 90s) being staged today and tomorrow by Profiles in History, a dealer in authentic original historical autographs, letters, documents, vintage signed photographs and manuscripts.

The collection is owned by Michael H. Epstein and Scott E. Schwimer, and boasts the largest cache of prints from legendary lensman, George Hurrell (who famously shot Jean Harlow on a bearskin rug). Bidding begins at 12 p.m. PST on both days at profilesinhistory.com or liveauctioneers.com.
