Never wear flats to any type of dinner. This is the problem with L.A. People want to find any excuse to be casual. Dress up when going out to a dinner or movie or a low key sushi spot. This site inspires me at times but when your contributors write about stores like odd molly on Robertson and wearing flats to an outing it feeds into the stereotype that Angelenos have no style.
