Project Runway’s Jeffrey Sebelia was forced to shutter his namesake line last year (times are tough, yo) but he’s comfortably installed as head designer for L.A. brand Fluxus. And now the L.A.-based label is poised to open a 1,329-square-foot flagship store at Fashion Island mall in Orange County this spring.
Sebelia — who’s actually one of the nicest PR alum, despite how he was portrayed on the show — said the inspiration for the brand’s Spring collection was “backstage at a ballet rehearsal and front row of a rock concert.” Sounds about right.
