Ariana Delawari, the new David Lynch muse whom we profiled in a fashion story styled by Leila Baboi in December, has a new album out, “Lion of Panjshir,” and the enigmatic director has a promo video now on the David Lynch Foundation Television website. In character, the short piece is evocative, fairly creepy, and features a young, beautiful woman singing in front of red velvet curtains in Old Hollywood regalia.
Looking forward to seeing Delawari follow in the footsteps of Julee Cruise and Rebekah del Rio as one of Lynch’s onscreen sirens. —Krista Jennings
