Studio NOi hair salon opens in Venice (and helps out with Haiti relief)

NoiVenice Beach recently welcomed a cute new hair salon to its line-up, Studio NOi, on Westminster Avenue (just off of Abbott Kinney).

The “micro-boutique salon” offers cuts, color, extensions and Brazilian blow-outs. Owner Mar Fujimoto used to own Headroom salon in New York City. Her new venture translates to “little” in her native Lao.

In celebration of the launch, the salon is collecting donations on behalf of UNICEF to aid in the Haiti relief efforts.  In exchange for a suggested donation of $20, Noi’s hair masters will be giving both men and women haircuts on Feb. 5 (including a shampoo and blow dry), with 100 percent of the proceeds going to UNICEF. Aren’t we all due for a little trim?
