Sundance 2010 fashion: Seen on Main Street

KatSundanceIt isn’t easy to look stylish in the snow. The majority of rubberized boots are bulky and awkward, hats tend to create a messy mane the second they come off and puffy coats can add the freshman 15 without ever touching a single scoop of late night Mac N’ Cheese. Which is why we asked our good friend and Riviera magazine editor Kathryn Romeyn to strike a polar-ice pose in her sophisticated snow garb. The motorcycle boots and aviators stay true to Kat’s rockerish, SoCal style and the vintage fur (which was picked up in a second hand shop for under $100) doesn’t leave her looking like the Michelin man. If you ask us, it’s the perfect attire for taking in the swagalicious sights and celeb-DJ sounds of Park City without looking like the abominable snowman. Or worse, a slush-covered slob.
