There are unconfirmed reports that Sarah Jessica Parker may be in talks with Halston to serve as some sort of creative advisor (she has designed before, if you can remember the very special episode of Project Runway a few years ago featuring her line, Bitten).

While SJP is no Lohan, I have to wonder whether the debacle at Ungaro with Lindsay Lohan has given companies pause when contemplating a celebrity hire among the design team. The press they’ll get is invaluable—but the proof is in the pudding, and we’d rather not see SJP do a walk of shame down the runway a la Lohan and Ungaro designer Estrella Archs.
