Starting Monday: The Way We Wore’s bi-annual vintage sale

86173231Attention vintage fashion aficionados: Starting Monday, The Way We Wore is having their bi-annual sale and if the past is any indication, this thing is gonna be good.

All clothing on the main floor of owner (and walking fashion encyclopedia) Doris Raymond’s charming shop is 50 percent off standard prices. That means a Courreges cream wool wrap dress with leather trim is only $225, a black crepe sleeveless chiffon shirtdress from sartorial master James Galanos is $347.50 and Emanuel Ungaro’s fuschia floral silk wrap dress (from the house’s pre-Lohan days) is $325.

Also expect a hearty selection of YSL peasant skirts, 70s and 80s-era Geoffrey Beene and leather skirts by Valentino. And fans of the shop know that accessories abound, so come prepared to play dress up with Raymond’s impeccably curated collection of conversation starting costume baubles — a select offering of them are half off, too.

And as if you needed a reason to do more vintage shopping, new discounted items will be added every week through the end of the sale.

The Way We Wore Bi-Annual Sale, Jan. 11 through Feb. 7. 334 S. LaBrea Ave., Los Angeles. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. 323-937-0878. thewaywewore.com
