Pro surfer (and fine art photographer) Kassia Meador sent me the invite to what looks to be one of the coolest art shows of the new year.

L.A.’s New Image Art gallery is hosting a Women Photographers exhibition, featuring work from some of the most boundary-pushing shooters around — including Meador, Alex Prager, Lauren Dukoff, Alma Carmina Marquez, Brandy Eve, Cheryl Dunn and Rebecca Wright.

Reception night (open to the public) is this Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at New Image Gallery, 7908 Santa Monica Blvd., L.A.  Rock it, ladies!
