My apologies to the good people at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills if I left any noseprints on the display windows last night while viewing their selects from Nina Ricci’s s/s 2010 collection (see right).
Ruffles and tulle are nothing new to Ricci, but Peter Copping—ex-chief assistant to Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton—seems like a great fit for a house that has been going through designers like Q-tips. Olivier Theyskens is a tough act to follow, but I like what I see thus far from Copping.
