RVCA, the sportswear brand that’s delved into high fashion as of late with its Erin Wasson for RVCA collection, has opened its first L.A. store this week — at 501 N. Fairfax Ave.
Blackburn and Sweetzer reports that the shop stocks both men’s and women’s garb, women’s accessories and a rack of Erin Wasson items. Most items fall under $100, with lots under $50.
The brand has been a longtime fave of mine — a standout in a sea of SoCal-made streetwear that swelled in the early 2000s.
The label’s aesthetics are hip but manage to veer toward the classic in terms of silhouttes, color and mood. And the construction of the garments feel notably substantial — not American Apparel-style pieced together. We can’t wait to pop in and peruse the new outpost personally.
