In these trying times, we could all use a little inspiration. So every Sunday evening, as I prepare to conquer the impending workweek, I browse through the local real estate listings and pretend–if only for thirty minutes–that my years of unpaid internships and 19-hour work days have finally afforded me my dream house (or at least another modest rental away from Koreatown’s bright yellow police tape).

This week I came across a charming house in the Los Feliz hills with a killer, shoe-and-purse-filled closet that made me drool. And after a bit of digging, I discovered that the closet in question belongs to none other than sprite actress Christina Ricci–until she sells it to a lucky buyer at least.
Ah, how nice it would be to peruse my wardrobe in such a lush dressing room. But for the moment, priced at $1.25 million, this girl can only dream.
But my inspirational plan indeed worked, as I’ll be putting in 20-hour work days this week. I’ve never been one for waiting.
