The Band of Outsiders/Boy Spring 2010 presentation at Milk Studios in New York was the kind of hip, crowded scene one would expect, given creative director Scott Sternberg‘s cult following. (It didn’t hurt that the former Hollywood agent won the 2009 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, tying with Calvin Klein’s Italo Zucchelli.)

Grace Coddington swanned around, as did Jason Schwartzman, star of Band’s fall ad campaign, and fashion press like Vogue writer Mark Holgate and Contributing Editor’s Matthew Edelstein. Even Jason Wu, Michelle Obama‘s darling, came by, admitting that Band of Outsiders is pretty much all he wears. He’s certainly got the slim, if petite, frame for which Sternberg’s were destined.
